Transformation isn't just about addition, it's about subtraction. Letting go of old habits and stories we tell ourselves, traditions and language. It all has to come down, fall away, rebuilt bit by bit until you're the person you're meant to be. It's walking a line of becoming that person while believing you're not worthy.
It's this conundrum, that makes diets work for a couple of weeks and then fail. It's why health isn't about willpower or cutting calories. It's about taking down walls and building back pathways, an interconnected highway system if you will.
So as I begin this reconstruction, I am asking myself these questions.
- What do I want and what does that look like?
- What will that change or do for my life and business?
- How will I know when I get there?
- What has kept me from getting there?
- What needs to be in place to make this happen?
So that's the set up for what follows in this little corner of the interwebs. Each step, each win, each loss. Every ugly and even uglier moment highlighted here, for the world to see.
I am going to be focusing on the things that feed my inner life and less on actual food. Of course one is as equally necessary as the other, so there will be some of that. I feel like if I get my shit together in my head, the rest will follow.
