Someone pointed out the other day that RESOLUTION is about "RE-solving" the puzzles and issues of the previous year. That's good, right? It's not about changing yourself for the New Year, but RE-solving the bits you haven't quite got right. 

So instead of the usual list, I'm drawing a map. Creating a playbook, because something has to change. That's the whole point of this...and I am still hiding and "putting" this off. 

Because I am a designer, I've spent the last hour playing with images and text and Adobe (everything). And it's enough. this isn't about hiding behind these great images. 

  1. Skin Care. Skin is the largest organ and I ignore it most. Morning and night clean, tone, moisture. Inside: veggies, fruit, hydration. This kind of thing.
  2. Sit-Stand workspace. 10 minutes an hour of movement. Like this one.
  3. 15 minutes of reading for fun before bed.
  4. 1-hour of politics or news. NO MORE. 

That's January. The physical path. More internal work for sure (obvs), but I need to take action. I have to get out of my head. I do believe that the physical mirrors the internal and little steps bringing them together is how we get there.
